A "hetero-romantic asexual" is attracted to the opposite sex in an emotional/romantic way but not in a sexual sense.

So I am a lesbian and hetero-romantic asexual at the same time? Why do we presist in these lables? Each individual has his or her own brand of sexuality. Everything else is a social construction.

I guess you could look at it that way and adopt both labels. Some people like labels, others feel labels are for clothes. I'd suggest calling or not calling yourself whatever makes you happy.

I should say that the term has only been used thus far to describe asexuals who experience no sexual attraction but are romantically attracted to the opposite sex.
