Rally at Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego Over Clinton's Speech

Former President Bill Clinton, was urged not to speak at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego due to the owners large contribution to proposition 8.

It appears the effort was not enough and now the former President will have to cross a picket-line of people who will be protesting. Clinton spokesman Matthew McKenna said. "I don't think you can name a leader in the world who has done more to advance gay and lesbian issues".

Are you kidding me? Don't Ask Don't Tell, the Defense of Marriage Act, and now this? Gee, thanks.

Rally at the Hyatt
Sunday February 15th, 11am – 1pm

As much as we would like to believe that Bill Clinton was good to us and George Bush was a monster reality doesn't support that wish at all. The "defense of marriage" act was and still is the worst piece of anti-civil rights legislation EVER passed in this country. Bill Clinton was our worst enemy.

OKay...let's play Devil's advocate here. SO he did set into place DADT & DOMA... Instead of just sitting on your derrier merely bitching about it, get OFF OF IT and do more to repeal it. You jack-asses who do nothing more than gripe at this or that and don't get off your own front porch to make a difference, just shut up. If you really want to make a difference, do so. Until you're out there knocking on doors, manning phone banks, protesting, rallying...do us all a favor and simple zip your lips. Madmouthing Clinton won't solve anything. Until you've marched on Washington, or held a candle up to signify that you are in solidarity with thousands, if not millions of others, you don't deserve to gripe unles you're ready to act upon it.

There aren't millions supporting your cause. Get a life--a real one!
