Word of the Gay: "Yuri"

"Yuri" is a depiction of love between women that is seen in Japanese anime and manga. "Yuri" can focus on sexual and/or emotional aspects of love between women. In Japan it is widely followed, and even though the country considers homosexuality taboo, this animation is considered acceptable to the public because it is fantasy and not reality.

From what anime did you get that snapshot? I used to like a yuri anime called "Strawberry Panic" which was much better than "Maria Sama Ga Miteru" though both of them had identical kind of settings. Oh darn my "otaku" side always takes over! I like your blog. ^_^

Too bad Yaoi Fangirls Blast Yuri which ends up making Yaoi hating Men which bleed into Real Gay hate since the Yaoi Fangirls also support Real Gay men, but bash Lesbians. Its sad, but if that keeps up we will only lose support. I think someone should make a Entry on how that kind of support isn't helping and how we'd prefer those type of "Helpers" to leave us out of their Fantasies if they are just going to make things worse for us by their wrongful support.
