Word of the Gay: "Safe-Space"

A "safe-space" is a person or an environment that is considered non-tolerant of physical or verbal violence against LGBT people. They are generally considered understanding of LGBT issues as well as accepting and affirming.

and this is why I love living here in the Outer banks Of North Carolina... It is my safe space... Open mindedness is our hallmark and you'd never know we are part of North Carolina and the south
